Dr. Glenn Cunningham: Greatness of determination

Once, a small (8-year-old) child was badly burnt by fire in the school, his legs were burnt very badly.  Doctors said he would never walk.  The whole flesh of his feet was burnt.  When he came home from the hospital, his mother would massage his feet daily and take him to a nearby ground to roll on a heel chair.  There was a lot of conviction in that child, his determination was very much appreciated.  He believed that no matter what happened, he would go away.

One day when his mother went somewhere to seat him in a wheelchair, he dropped himself from that chair and started dragging himself.  He continued to do this every day and gradually some life started coming to his feet.  He started to stand up, then started walking very slowly.  Then he started walking as usual.  Then he started running.

One day he became the fastest runner in America to run a mile.  She set a world record in the 1500 m race.  He was none other than Dr. Glenn Cunningham.  It is a tribute to Cunningham's resolve.

 Not happy with hands:

If insisted with positive thinking, the world can indeed change.  15-year-old Kishore Roshan Nagar, resident of Sri Ram Colony Sanganeri, has shown this by doing so.  After missing both hands and one leg in the accident in the year 2002, the dream of studies was lost.  The courage of the elders of the house had also given the answer, but Roshan insisted and today he is appearing for the Class X board examination.

In the year 2002, Roshan walked barefoot while tackling a friend's kite in the wires of the Hightrain Line passing through the roof of the house.  With an iron bar in his hand, he caught it for a lighted kite, so he felt the current that he had to lose one leg and both hands.  Dada Narayan brought him home after two operations.

About ten months after the treatment, Roshan expressed his desire to read, on this stubbornness, which was encouraged by Dadi Kisna Devi, he made him practice writing with a pen tied in his hand.  After hard work, she started going to school again in the fifth grade in the year 2003.  With this dedication, he scored 52% in VI, 62% in VII, 79% in VIII and 64% in IX.  See the courage of 15-year-old Roshan Nagar without an arm.  Roshan has given the tenth examination at the Navta Center in Jaipur by tying a pen to a severed hand.  Roshan says - He does not want to be a burden on anyone.  He wants to become a CA.
